2. What we collect and how

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data:

  • When you book an appointment: your name, email, phone number, the service and time you choose, whether it is online or in person, and any notes or health-related information you add in the booking form.

  • When you buy from the shop (e-books, workshops): your name, email, billing details and order information.

  • When you contact us or fill out a form: your name, email and your message.

  • When you subscribe to the newsletter: your name and email address.

  • Automatically: technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and language, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).

Payment card details are entered on the secure page of our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

3. Health information

Some information you share (for example, health concerns in a booking form or during a consultation) is sensitive. We collect it only with your express consent, only when needed to provide your service, and we keep it confidential. You may choose not to share it; in that case we may not be able to tailor the service.

4. Why we collect it

  • To manage your appointments, send confirmations and reminders, and provide the service (including a video link for online sessions).

  • To process orders and payments, and deliver e-books and workshops.

  • To answer your questions.

  • To send you our newsletter, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

  • To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes, and to keep the site secure.

  • We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we make no automated decisions about you.

5. Who receives it

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the site and our services:

  • Wix.com hosts the website and provides booking, shop, forms, contacts and newsletter tools.

  • Payment processors (such as Wix Payments) process payments and deposits.

  • Google (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet) is used for email, scheduling and online sessions.

These providers are bound by their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed if the law requires it.

6. Storage outside Québec and Canada

These providers may store or process your information outside Québec and outside Canada, including in the United States and Europe, where it is subject to local laws. By booking, ordering, subscribing or submitting a form, you consent to this. If you do not agree, you can contact us directly instead of using the online tools.

7. Your consent

We ask for your consent before collecting your information, through the checkboxes and forms on this site. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, subject to legal or contractual limits. Withdrawing may limit our ability to provide some services.

8. Cookies

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (for example, secure browsing, your cart and your language). We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

9. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed, then delete or anonymize it:

  • Contact requests that do not lead to a service: up to 2 years

  • Client files, bookings, invoices and orders: 6 years, for tax and accounting

  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • see the personal information we hold about you

  • correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete

  • delete it, subject to legal retention requirements

  • withdraw your consent

  • receive your information in a commonly used, structured format (portability)

  • stop disseminating it or de-index links to it, where the law allows

Write to jinane.naturopath@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.

11. Security and incidents

We use reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts and limited access. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as required by law, and we keep a register of incidents.

12. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.

14. Questions and complaints

Contact us first at jinane.naturopath@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca).
